From an article in the Times Call it looks like you may be sending some water to the farmers who had their wells shut off out in the Eastern plains. Any chance that water is being sent down the Big Thompson river bed or the St Vrain Supply Canal? It sure would be nice to get the highest and best use of that water!

Hey Arn and all,
That's a possibility, but there is a lot of coordination still going on regarding this. The water that would be sent out east would come from a private enterprise, the Windy Gap Municipal Subdistrict of the Northern Colorado Water Conservancy District, which has its water delivered through the federally owned and operated Colorado-Big Thompson project. This water can be delivered via several different possible routes that may or may not include the Big Thompson River. I don't have any specifics, yet; but once I know if there will be a change at Olympus Dam on the Big Thompson, I will post here.
