Just Bought a Paddle Cat, What Now?

I want to run some stuff this weekend to get the hang of the boat and I live in Denver. I am okay with reading water and general river smarts but want something more manageable to shuttle and run, since my friend lives in a land of lazy water and I don't want to get him in too deep.

Any suggestions on something within 4 hours or so of Denvoid?

The pumphouse run on the Co, or Co below grizzly, or the Ark anywhere besides the Gorge or the #s. Some of these Ark options could e a big step up. Browns may or may not be in your comfort zone, but the stuff above or below there should be ok.

Thanks, I think we're going to run Pumphouse on Monday to avoid the hordes! Might run something here in town on Friday, just for kicks.

I've got a flexible schedule if anyone wants to get out and do some poor kayaking or R2-ing!
