June 11th, Lyons Whitewater Festival 2006

We're so amped to bring you the Fourth annual Lyons Whitewater Festival. Last years event was our biggest yet and we're expecting this years event to be even BIGGER! The event is for everyone including dogs. We've got Big Cash prizes for the Pro's and we've got product prizes from Mountain Maiden, Jackson Kayak, Riot, Salamander, Power Pawz, Pearl Izumi, NRS, CKS, Planet Bluegrass.......and more that are for the first 3 places of EACH amateur event. If you were here last year you know that nobody went home empty handed. The spectators have more fun than the kayakers..........Boater X, Freestyle and the crazy dog tricks will make for a fun day for the entire family. We're having a freestyle demonstration before the Freestyle comp to explain how the latest tricks are done. Come out and visit Beautiful Lyons on Sunday June 11th. Well let me put it this way.......I have no idea how to loop but I had a HUGE air Loop yesterday (with a visual confirmation) and quite a few Big ones today. So I can't imagine what guys that know what they're doing will pull off. The A-hole and BB are both rockin.

From looking at the whitewater park guage there does not appear to be any water in the North Saint Vrain. Is that going to change for this event?
