Cross is so much better than Shosho, I'll bet a million bucks that you'll find boaters there this weekend if you wait at the putin and it's running. Try it out.
josh, some front rangers are headed that way. I was hoping to hit the springs and get a super 8 motel and have a rager, interested? I also politely disagree about cross mtn. At 2000 it is not nearly as difficult as barrel and it's a whole lot more of a drive. We're thinking of that direction next week when it's up around 6000 hopefully. That's assuming Bear doesn't run.
