Is that the run that is a tributary to the South Fork of the Main Salmon? If so we ended up at the put in there for a high SF run and contemplated putting on. I think you can run down to the SF and it is short but has some class V....but that's just what our guide book said.

I've never done it but hear it's a classic. There's lots of beta about it out there. It's like seven miles, wilderness run with one portage. Get a hold of Keith Howard in McCall and he can let you in on it. He's in the phone book.
