Jackson newbie spots?

Hey, thanks to those who replied about Green River, sounds like there is next to no water there. Are there good spots near Jackson for the, well, not overly experienced? I know there is a lot of excellent paddling for the upper intermediate and up. Looks I'll head up that way between work in The Green River area. Thanks............Zeph

Hey man, I'm going to jackson this weekend/early next week. This is my first season so I'm looking for some II/III runs also. If your going to be in the area the same time period and you are looking for someone to paddle with also drop me a PM and lets hit the river.

something is almost always good in jackson, hoback is a good starter run if you want a class 2 run. for a class 3, 4+ at high water than check out greys river some fun on that one! check with rendezvous river sports for exact discription of whats good, was there last weekend for the rodeo it was good time and taco was a really nice play feature
