I have tried a few different orientations and combinations of inflation, but every time, and I mean every time I paddle , the tube to the smaller air pocket comes detached at the pocket end and deflates. I am planning on buying a longer tube and then super glueing it, but am wondering if anyone else has this issue and has a solution.

if the tube's not long enough, that doesn't seem too odd, I'd use abit of seam grip or other flexible adhesive & a ziptie once you get a long enough hose.
