Nice timing Joe. Photo's from last night on Robe. I posted a blurb & some more pics at the range life. We saw a momma bear & cub right at river level! It's going to be a fun weekend.
As for the 3 amigos above .. haters .. have y'all started planning your spring break / boat break trip to Arizona? or are you going to Texas this year? I hear they gots da goodz down there ..
Not everybody knows that Joe and Todd have been dating for over 2 years now (not that there is anything wrong with that) you guys just need to let your feelings out in the open for each other. Joe, I see the way you look at him. You are the true testament to a long distance relation.
Like Lief says, "It's just two guys having a little fun."
I do hear that CO boaters coming up here and swimming is quite in vogue (Started by me in March, probably). I'm likely due up tomorrow, but I made it out of Robe with some grit.
Robe is the shit, but that's an entirely private Converstaion.
I just can't seem to part from our Park N Huck spots around here in the NW.

Maybe I just need a break from the rain we get up here, I hate always being wet it sucks, and the depression from long days of boating has always been something I would like to move away from. Are there any good suggestions of places to live where you can still boat 365 a year but in 80 degree weather?
Notice it does not explicitly say "class V season." When you say "our" are you referring to the Northwest, like the post is discussing or are you referring to Colorado?
But anyways, Mexico does have a warm and practically year-round season. Valles and Veracruz regions more or less run October through April. Zimatan and some other runs go essentially from July through October. There are also many runs in these and other areas that are spring fed and therefore essentially run year-round. And, yes, I realize that many of these runs are separated by a lengthy drive, but that's the case anywhere you go.
The reply, like the question, was meant to be tongue-in-cheek. Do you have any constructive suggestions for this poor man in his plight?
Also, I wanted to throw out that the WA boys are way more hospitable in general when compared to the SE Green putin crew. So take that LVM state series. And a shout for the man who always has the rock solid plan, TG.
Joe
True, you can boat low water class II in mexico in march - but you can do that here (Browns this weekend anyone?). The mexico season is October - early january. 3.5 months, just like here in CO unless you're psyched to scratch down something that's not really running or repeat a 42cfs spring fed run.
As far as constructive action, the man lives in the PacNW. He's got year round boating (see sic waterfall pic). If there was year round boating and 85 degrees I'd already be there. As is, I'll be working on getting north shortly.
Joe
My attempt at being a sarcastic prick has been foiled... but you know you still want to get some up here! Can't I get one of you CO Boys to act jealous?
Yes, I am insanely jealous. That's why I felt I had to be a sarcastic prick back to you.
