Is the Upper Klickitat River "Tree of Doom" Still There?

This beastie was there all summer at the 2nd headwall and totally blocking the main channel on river right. I am curious if anyone knows if they got this thing out of the river this winter. I had hear that some folks from Zollers were going to try to cut this thing out of there in the fall when the water level was really low but have not gotten confirmation. This one is a potential killer and you have to run the left channel on this island. It is the second basalt headwall and the main current wants to take you right into it. Fortunately it is well marked now after a guy had his cat destroyed there last spring. Fortunately this thing has not killed or injured anyone yet. Getting ready to start running the Klick soon and I sue hope they got this thing out of there as the left channel is tight and shallow.
