The gauge at the river and the Internet gauge read the same. The present reading is "lower" than previous years. The recent high water destroyed the old gauge and a new one was installed. Based on my experience, and the opinions of many other knowledgeable locals, the present gauge reads about .2 lower. So, 2.2 on this gauge roughly equates to 2.0 in terms of the levels people are used to discussing. Anyway, it all goes. Keep your helmet on and your paddle wet.
