Is Golden ok right now???

So I am just starting to kayak again after a long hiatus, and was wondering if 100cfs going through golden is worth it or should I head down to confluence? I have never been a play boater so any little hole can get exciting for me.

And if Golden is worth it anyone going tonight?

just wait...golden is going to be lame right now. hold out until at 150-200.

if you've been on hiatus skip confluence. Its pretty swift at 650. Nothing above a class III, but wouldn't be fun to get worked in.

Whether Golden is worthwhile depends on what you want. It should have enough water to float a boat and can flip a boat if you are clueless.

Golden is safe enough that you don't need another person there.

It's good to ride the water levels up.

I was out at confluence last night and had a good time in the bottom hole of the park, that is about my speed.
