Inflatable kayaks on Main Salmon in high water?

It is looking like the water level for our Main Salmon trip next week may have flows at the 5.0' to 6.0' range. That is higher than I have ever run the Main. We were planning on taking 2 two-man inflatable kayaks. The primary users of the IKs have a fair amount of experience - including flipping and climbing back in while in a rapid. But if they are flipping multiple times per day in fast and cold water, they won't have much fun and the risk level would go way up.

Has anyone done the Main in IKs at high water level (say 4'-6' at Corn Creek)? What is it like? Is it a fun ride? Or is it so pushy and powerful that it is extremely intense?

I would appreciate any info that will help me decide whether to take the IKs or not.

Did MAin Salmon at 38,000 last year at this time I personally wouldnt take them The waves are very big and the only highsides called were in the hugh vortexes that the eddys created at random times. the eddy fences are extemly big and watch out for the Hole at the bottom of elkhorn you could hide a schoolbus in it and never know its there. Have fun though

I think at 38,000 cfs it would be an easy decision to not take IKs, but the flow is currently at around 23,000 and will probably drop below 20,000 by our launch date. So the flow is right on my decision threshold. Has anyone used IKs in the 15,000 - 20,000 cfs range?
