East Infection

Why would you hike Overrated East Cost forests when you could hike the Sierra Crest Trail, Yellowstone to Yukon, the Inca Trail or Annapurna Circuit?

You have to be insane to do the AT when all these other hikes are 100 times more beauiful and 100 times less crowded. Go somewhere inspirational, not overrated!

Yellowstone to Yukon ..... is there a trail there? Seems like lots of that is off trail...and how many people have actually done it? More than 10? More than 100?

Seems pretty serious, although also very appealing....another good route for a packraft.

not when you get into maine. you are in the blissful middle of nowhere. your pack gets very heavy at the hardest part of the hike. I've done a lot of research, and am going to go soon, I hope. Have to get my ass in shape first. dude have a blast, I'm jealous.
