iGoogle Flows - gadget

If anyone is interested, I created a gadget for iGoogle home pages that is a simple version of the EddyFlower nestable flows.

All of this is without the permission of the EddyFlower folk so if it bothers you guys shoot me a message and I will withdraw the gadget.

just click on that link that says personalize your homepage. I guess it gets translated to google's title on that page. I think google has to approve it before you can find it with a search.

You may have to go to the settings and select your state to get it to load. NOt sure what that is all about, worked right when I was testing it.

Apparently it is slow in IE. Works best in FireFox.

the best igoogle tool ever

I actually thought about emailing eddyflower to see if someone would develop this. very cool

I clicked the link and it loaded onto my igoogle page. I use firefox as well and it seems to work well.

thanks so much for doing this!

nice work tellutwurp!

what would be really slick is if you could leverage our nested favorites instead of nestable flows so users can control the runs they want to see using my favorites functionality.

shoot me an email and lets discuss.

cheers

we are planning on integrating weather into the flows as well, any chance you (tellutwurp) would like to help us with that project? it would be so sweet to fly down the flow list a be able to see the flow levels and weather for each run at the same time.

How about this - not only have the current weather, but have a graph of the previous 2 weeks of highs and lows that can be superimposed onto a graph of the flows. Then also have a graph, like the on on Accuweather's 15 day forecast, the shows the next 15 days forecasted temps. The user could then make a guess about the likely changes to the flow based on the correlation of the previous 15 days weather and water levels. That would be slick.
