Idaho / north west boating question.

where to go for playboating in ID/OR/WA ? Looking for ones that have good consistent flow throughout this summer, with a nearby free campsite, walmart, wifi, etc., surrounded by class III-V rivers is a plus.

as of now I'm in Beuna Vista area. Water level here is not so exciting that I'm thinking of moving somewhere. Ideally, all I want to do is to drive to such a place, permanently park my car, camp, and playboat. I can't afford to chase the water or run shuttle everyday. I might be able to run a river nearby at most once a week.

to expand on what caspermike said,

move to cascade or mccall. close enough to the NF, but you can still go surf in Riggins.

I'd skip the parking lot, and buy a $30 discovery pass to access all of the 'free' camping I could. (free meaning no fee after you buy the damn pass)

List of Washington water access sites, many of which you can camp at:

Summer camping is everywhere. Just pick a dirt road and drive. However so are the bugs. Sketters will eat you up! so, bring bug spray or netting.

Walmart does not usually build their stores where dirtbag kayakers are known to congregate.

McCall sucks.

Banks or Cascade. Banks is ground central for river runnin'. Cascade is a bit of a drive but has a ww park.
