You stated that perfectly, well done. You sound like a quality individual with the perfect attitude. Welcome to Colorado, I'd be honored to boat with you anytime, mank or no mank

Enjoy, Lenny.

Damn, that's some funny shit... and sadly, quite true. Liz - I'm sure you will have no trouble finding partners. Simply being female will get you plenty of attention on this website.

"Myth: Colorado boaters are incredibly enthusiastic about their sport.
Fact: By mid June, you will be wondering where all the kayakers went. By mid September, you will have to bribe someone to go run Gore with you at optimum flows on a 70 degree sunny day because "it's such a long drive", "the paddle in takes forever", and "my girlfriend needs me to help her fix the fence." By November, Brian Bank will be your only friend."

wait, I thought this was kayaking? Is your internet connection faster in June or something?

Cripps, that was one of the funniest posts I've read in a long time! It was probably the most accurate portrayal of Colorado Kayaking ever, although it does not apply to Durango (not really part of Colorado Kayaking anyway). I would recommend going to the Animas until it's dry... then Wyoming. Most underrated state for Kayaking.
