FYI there is a huge strainer, river wide in the eagle river just above the wal-mart bridge in eagle-vail/avon. The tree is almost river wide, with many large branches that are dead, but ugly. There is about a foot of water flowing over most of it making it extra deadly, run left! There is a crew consisting of guides from Lakota, timberline and mayby nova that are meeting in the morning to try to work on part of it. BEWARE: the property owner on river right is mean, and he will yell at you and mayby call the cops.
