How much does a water park cost?

Hello:
I work for a town that is looking at river restoration and the possibility of a white water park. I am looking for a reasonable cost estimate of a white water park, including the average length of a decent white water park, as well as ways that boaters have contributed to other parks (ie volunteer projects). Any information would bring this project one step closer to reality... Thanks!
