How is westwater at the end of september??

Any comments about westwater at the end of september? I have vacation at the end of September and want to add a westwater trip to the vacation? Historical averages show ~3000 cfs, but it will probably be a bit lower based on where the flows are now. How's the river at this type of level? Is it getting cold by that time, or is it usually still nice?

Thanks!

Good times, at least you wont have to deal with swarms of deer flies and scorching desert heat, Fall weather out there on the westside is shweet. The water may be a lil cooler but not unbearable at all. Have run it at like 2500 and it's still real fun, word.

Well worth it and the level should be about 3K. Lots of fun and as FLOW sez... nice fall weather.

Westwater's great at that time of year! I've done it multiple times in September and October when it has spiked up to 5000, too. Lots of fun, nice weather, and the water's not too cold.
