How is the Pumphouse Run at 7000cfs?

Thinking of taking the family down this weekend on my 14ft raft. Any beta is appreciated.

I have only run it a couple of times at lower water. All positive feedback is appreciated. Been boating in my yak for many years, relatively new to rafting.

Agree you should look at the other threads on this. If new to rafting, I do hope you know the back ferry. When you approach Yarmony, there are laterals that want to surf you into the churning maw. I get a 45 degree angle at the hole and pull back to stay along the left side until you are safely past, then back ferry the other direction to get mid-channel to avoid the left wall. It has lots of power in it right now, and will will most likely flip if you miscalculate at the top.

Ran it on Monday and was a blast. Eye of the Needle was fun, 45 angle pointed at the left lateral and cruised through. Yarmony was more visually intimidating than difficult. Hugged left side line, nose pointed 45 at the hole on the right and then spun opposite past the hole to 45 pointing at the left wall (some laterals coming off of that guy). Boat was up and down a good bit though, so if you've got kids (or a dog) keep an eye on them so they don't get dump trucked. Whole float, Pumphouse to Rancho was around 3 hours (including a stop after Yarmony to watch others come through)
