How far east have you floated on Boulder Cr?

I've never floated beyond 55th and Pearl. ANyone know of other decent take outs? Barbed wire? I've heard the guy at 75 th st like to think he owns the creek. ANy other spots to look out for? CAn you float way out to 287 or beyond? THinking about trying to see how far I can get, but might as well have whatever beta is available.

The only thing that I have heard about it, is about the the guy (Scott Weiser I believe) at 75th who has in the past been very vocal in the news group about not allowing people to float through his area

I used to live in Gunbarrel and was headed out to paddle Clear Creek or something, I hadn't secured the strap ends very well and they were smacking against the roof of my car. I randomly pulled over at the spot where 63rd street crosses boulder creek. While I was trying to secure the strap ends 4 or 5 people showed up and started harassing me, stating that I couldn't paddle on boulder creek here. I told them I had no intention of paddling boulder creek, but it was creepy as hell.

Paddeling east of 55th is a wild ride that demands full attention! The drops are huge and the white knuckle hair ball doesn't start to mellow until the gradient goes from 12ft/mile to 10ft/mile.

Be careful out there, I've heard Chundergirl is the only person to have made it out alive.

Dave, Gary Lacy and Scott Shipley paddle their wildwater boats out there pretty often. If you know those guys you should ask them. Being the only sane member of our company I have never joined them on those trips. Gary and his family had the Sheriff called on them last summer by some guy out east on Boulder Creek. I can't remember if there was any barbed wire involved or not.
