Hotel Charley River of Doubt - Fort Collins, Boulder, Winter Park, Laramie

Heads up on the upcoming premier of Hotel Charley. This should be good. Tickets are $10 for the FC and WP show, $12 for Boulder. This show usually sells out, so you're best to purchase your tickets early.

The next level of expedition kayaking emerges in this latest film from Class V exponent Ben Stookesberry. Inspired by Theodore Roosevelt’s watershed expedition to the River of Doubt, this film depicts the state of river exploration nearly a century later.

Ben Stookesberry & Jesse Combs will be on hand to introduce the film and answer questions.

Doors for all shows open 7:00 PM, Film starts 7:45 PM (or so)

I just saw this video at EJ's house the other day and must say its one of the best ever. These are the first showings in Colorado. If anyone wants to stoke it up, this will provide all that is needed. I love the way Ben gets the shots the way a creekboater see's things... And he shows the real lines made by the best boaters in the world... Wether they are clean or not. Focusing more on the reality of creeking, the safety required and what challenges the team has to face in order to make it out the other end.

Be sure not to miss this one.

"Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body. But rather...To skid in broadside, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming... WOW !!!! What a ride!!!!!!"

Seconded. Saw it this weekend at SRK and it is balls to the wall expedition kayaking. Plus lots of class V rolling practice next to boiling undercuts.
