horsetooth wave looks good

the horsetooth wave looks to be about as good as it gets.

just got a visual after some glassy wakeboarding.

Where at Horsetooth is there a wave? I assume that it is on the inlet or outlet. The outlet is all fenced off, you can't be talking about that...

the wave is on the inlet, west side of the reservoir. hansen feeder canal. check coloradokayaking.com for details. Honestly its probably not worth drive from fort collins or a thread. It needs a very precise flow just to front surf. Too much cfs is impossible to get on and super fast, too little is a shallow hole. Maybe if some mutant crawdads were to move some boulders, who knows ...hmmm
