Hey there Holley,
I never chime in, I'm typically just the watch and read. but since I didn't get a vid of my surgery (same gig just had a bit more done I've got 7 anchors and a bunch broken bone removed(photos only)). the surgery was the 15th of August 2007 and until about 3 weeks ago I was skeptical of getting out. I'm ready for sure now. & I've started practicing my rolling motion with pullies and resistive wieghts. the motion seems clean for now. My surgeon did good work I believe.
Bottom line is just be patient and sorry the recovery is lame for the 1st few months but once progression starts you really start feeling good about everything again.
good luck and thanks for the video, i got ripped off for sure. the photos are cool though.
As for boating, I'd make your big move to celebrate your return at gualey fest. With all the whiskey you'll be drinking this summer you probably could show up all the tough boys at the party.
You surley will have the time to practice and prime yourself.
Also if you haven't taken any courses/classes on saftey in WW. This could be a great way to stay in the community and not get injured. Unless your falling over from all the whiskey practicing....
Peace and good luck girlie. the rivers will be here when your ready..
