Homestake Creek Beta

Hey, I'm gonna be doing the creek race at the mountain games on thursday and I went up to check out homestake last week. Unfortunatly it was snowing and the levels looked too low to paddle. Can anyone give me some beta on what its like at the levels that race is typically held at? Any spots to watch out for? Just general info, don't want anything that would give me an unfair advantage...

A couple years ago in the drought, they ran the race at 27cfs I think. So, pretty much no matter what happens, it will go.

The town of Vail agreed to release 100 cfs from the dam for the race. So, you'll probably have 130-175 for the race.

BTW, this forum probably isn't the best place for beta for that race. Perhaps ask some people in the shops.
