I'm coming out to Colorado from Oregon in early April and am wondering how the access/levels are on Homestake Cr. with all this snow. Is anyone running it? Is it all frozen in?
you might be able to ski it in early april. it's high elevation and usually runs in late may/ early june. also, it's roadside and all of 1/4 mile long so it's one of the easiest steep creeks to scout and set safety on.
