This storm might seal the deal. It could be a great water year. Fingers crossed.

Supposed to have more than an inch plus of precip. coming. If the front stalls this afternoon/evening it could be even more! What a way to end the last official day of winter. I love this state!

9News meteorologist Nick Carter says rain showers will change over to snow by Sunday afternoon.

The heaviest snow will be Sunday night and Monday morning not only for Denver and the Front Range mountains but the northeastern plains of Colorado as well.

Under the worst case scenario, the metro area will get 10 to 14 inches of heavy wet snow and between 18 and 30 inches will fall in the foothills over 7,000 feet.

Nick better be right!!!!!!!!!
