If you wear your helmet when going to the Eddyline for a beer run you get high 5's....guess the answer depends on how much you like to headbutt stuff/people...

GARNA’s mission is to foster stewardship of the resources of the greater Arkansas River region through education, volunteerism and experiences.

I always wear one on anything rocky, and everything over class III. Even when it's not rocky, you never know when that oar is going to pop and hit you in the head, or when you might flip and have something (oar, frame, dry box, etc) come crashing down on your head.

Never wore helmets. Anyone showed up with a helmet we'd laugh them right out of there.

Probably should have worn them though.

Lots of head injuries.

Schlitz seemed to cause the most, but PBR was another highly suspect brew when it came to head injuries.

Thankfully, we carried the super sized bottle of aspirin.

For the beer? Hell no that just looks silly.
Now the turkey leg, that's another matter entirely!!!
