Check out the Chattooga, near Clayton on Hwy 441. Sec. IV is a true classic. If there is rain everywhere, look to see of the Chauga is up, too, along with Overflow Creek.
Sec. IV is about 1:45 from Atlanta, depending on where you are
3 hours from Atlanta is the Ocoee. Not far from there is the Tellico. Ocoee is all play and Tellico is all action. Both worth doing. Tellico is rain dependent and a must do if you are in the area. Ocoee is release.
