Heading to Mexico over Thanksgiving need beta

We will be down there for 10 days. We are hoping to hook up shuttle with agua azul and paddle the goods. Do I need a drytop? Any beta on what rivers to hit and ones we might want to pass. I have the Gringos Guide but any additional beta on the rivers, places to stay or travel tips for the area would be greatly appreciated.
