Has anyone hiked in to the Crystal Gorge to check for wood?

I was up on the N Fork a few days ago and I saw the slides near the town of Crystal. Those paths look like they get used quite often and I did not see any large down trees. Just small stuff. I wanted to get a quick hike up to the inner after our runs but it got too late. Any info would be nice. Planning to get on it next tuesday if anyone is interested.

Cheers

Hey:

Was in there today, there are a few new logs..... First one is right after the very first drop, the S-turn is unrunnable, (or at least nasty looking) cuz of a log.... portage right...

There is a new log in the boogie water above corkscrew, you would usually punch a little hole, then boof right, but there is a log right now, so you have to make it left, or walk it....The rest is good for the upper...

The lower has a new log that you can see a little below Zute Chute.... U can go left, but check it out.... Other then that, I think its all good

Be safe, might be a good idea to get out at any drops, just to make sure.
