Has anybody tried the new play spot in Pagosa?

I am skiing Wolf Creek on Saturday and wanted to go try the new play spot in the afternoon. I heard it was designed by Gary Lacy and is really nice.

Has anyone tried it and where is it?
What kind of feature is it?

Thanks

play spot in Pagosa

cosurfgod, the new playspot is fun. Seems to wash out a little @ higher water levels. It's right behind "Tequila's restaurant. It's a wave/hole, more of a wave @ this level, but really fun!

Lets call it Davy's hole!! Without his help (Wolf Creek) it would not have happened. It should be good all summer, even at lower levels.

T - I think were coming down for the graduation. We should be in town 4 or so days. I wanted to run some water in the area, any ideas? What about a barge party on sun 5/8? Have fun at w-creek. I'm headed up Aspen for some snowmoboarding. peace

San Juan

The San Juan @ Pagosa Springs gage is working again. The work done to make the new play spot (DAVY'S HOLE) messed up old gague site. The new site is upstream in the park.
More snow on mountains this am.

I didn't get in my boat but I looked like it sucks. It looked sorry at low water and I hear at high water the eddies wash out. It might work for the retired people or the bubbas of Pagosa but I would say Gary owes you guys some $$$$.
