I would love to hook up with some of you locally and learn the "PROPER" hand roll (NOTICE - "Proper")!! I can hand roll, but I seem to have my elbow too far out and dis-locate my shoulder sometimes when I roll. I gave up on hand paddling this winter when I dislocated my shoulder after trying to roll up on the 25' waterfall on fossil creek,AZ. I didn't swim, but it was painful finishing the run with a hurt shoulder! I'm still feeling the pain today!! Although I love the control I have with both hands, it feels as if I loose some leverage?? Oh well, I'm a second year newb and wanted to try something that just looked soooooo COOL!!! "TIPS" would be greatly appreciated!!! Ha Haaaa!!
