Thanks for the info. Anthony Poponi is indeed a great guy. I was aware that he was responsible for obtaining funding for the project, but I was not aware of where it came from. I will definitely be stopping by to check out your progress. Good luck with the rest of the project.

Yeti, can you put up a pic of the bridge? And do you know how that was funded and what it cost?

phil, i will try to remember to get a pic today sometime. they [the one at Twin Bridges and the one at North Bridge] are both the classic red steel arch style.

the bridges themselves are part of a much larger project who's goal is to establish a riverside trail from between the two access point [North Bridge/G-Mikes and the WW Park], as well as establish several other trails around the WW Park and around the community itself. This was made possible the a grant from the Great Outdoors Colorado [GOCO] and will be a HUGE benefit to the community, Anthony Poponi really scored a big one for us. the bridges are already in place, and most of the trail is ready to be created soon. There is one small slice where an unfriendly landowner is not willing to let the trail go through, but the discussions have been started to attempt to get the trail through, so keep your fingers crossed. once its all done it will really be an amazing system, so stay tuned!
