Gunnsion flows through Black Canyon / gunny Gorge Update
Just talked to Dan Crabtree from the Bureau of Reclamation. They are planning to drop flows slightly to 600 cfs starting sat night (from 690). Was hoping to do a chill late season float thru gunny, but have abandoned the plandue to lower flows.
That's still plenty of water if you're kayaking. I've even brought a 12 foot raft down at 700 cfs, and I think that 600 cfs would be adequate. I've kayaked it at 250 cfs. If you ask me, it's still worth the trip.
