Gunnison town run

The gauge for today read 583 cfs. Would this be an acceptable level for a 14 foot canoe, if not what is a good minimum flow? Is this run generally good for canoes, or is it best just for kayaks. Thanks.

you can do it just watch the water for shallow spots, i took my parents down it and they where in a canoe and they did fine
you know sometimes i wish i would have chosen something like baseball but, i didn't and i'm a kayaker so this is what i do." -Nick Turner (Wehyakin)
