How about June 23, 4.9ft

De la Boot, I've only done Upper/Lower at 3-3.5ft if recollection is right. 3' gets bony. It's well worth the drive when the rivers near 3.5 or better. Just remember the water will be colder up there!

It's looking like we should have had a separate pool to guess when the river might actually start to rise. But there's warm days a-comin', so here we go.

Some other guesses:
3 feet on June 1.
5.3 feet on June 19.
4.5 feet on July 1.
3 feet on August 1 -- How cool would this be?!

I've been waiting patiently since June 1, 2003, to see 5 feet on the Poudre again. It looks like it's going to happen at long last. Boat safe, everyone.

Have we peaked? If we have I'll gladly accept my prize!

That is, I think I won... let's see here...
If we use the Poudre Rock Report as the official level indicator we saw a peak of 4.49 on June 20.

I guessed 4.5 on June 15, Whitewaterjunkie guessed 4.8 on June 16, and Hoozer guessed 4.75 on June 21. Is the water level the winner with the date as a tie breaker? According to the calculator I was only off by 12 CFS, whitewaterjunkie was off by 402 CFS, and Hoozer was off by 331. If guessing the date makes you the winner, Hoozer was closest. So Dan, who wins? What's the prize? I hope it's a free whitewater rafting adventure!
