I thought I heard through the grapevine that "Up Tha Creek" was a boner-operated raft company now I know, and will spread the word. Klamb has always been very helpful and if you are lucky DSP won't slap a mushroom print on your forehead next time he sees you in Gore. Maybe it should be called "Up Duh Creek".

It takes a big man to cry...It takes an even bigger man to laugh at that man.

Would be hard to believe that a business owner would be as rude as BB was. Abusive would be a better word. I hate seeing that type of banter regardless, but to tie your business with that type of attitude is pitiful. Though I do seem to remember this guy, and am not too surprised.

On the other hand, it seems that there would be some obligations and responsabilities that would be tied to the permits to operate a business on public lands and waters. I don't believe verbally abusing the public is one of them, nor harassing a Bureau of Reclamation official doing public information.

Ballbuster, aka: wholesurfer: Rick Covington Owner of Up Tha Creek Rafting 970-947-0030

Dick here has posted on the Buzz in other names. I bet a few of you remember a post by this (Pick any degrading name and place here). It went something like:

"no more kayakers dying ?...........too bad..thats the news I look for to make my day..!"

It was posted circa 2006. I believe the original post was CENSORED due to Internets bullying.

But a follow up post is here: banish wholesurfer

I happen to live in the same valley as Mr. Covington. I would never send anybody on a raft trip with his outfit, and after the comment a few years ago, sent him a few emails and a few phone calls asking for clarification about said quote. Of course, I received none.

Sorry Tim that this guy is your friend, but he really is a moron.

To rick, Wah, wah wah on Gore. Go run sho sho with some fat texans. O permit... no sho sho 4 u.

Next time I see you, I'll have some choice words for you in person

Claimer: Someone that makes a claim that they have been there and done that, can do anything you can do better than you. I hate "claimers"
