Anyone know how long the list is?

Does anyone know how long the list for the GC is? Just wondering whether my waitlist number of around 6000 is way down the end, half way or what?

Last I heard there were about 7,000 people remaining on the list. I know for sure there is one fellow on the GCPBA site trying to partner up who has a number in the 6,300's, so either way you're toward the end of the line.

Good luck.

Waiting on a list? That's not the American way. Give some money to a that will get you a permit.
I hope in the future Americans are thought of as a warlike, vicious people, because I bet a lot of high schools would pick "Americans" as their mascot. -Jack Handy

Yeah, a permit to run a concession.

I'm like 7,600 something and this is my fourth year on the list. I'm hoping for a 2007 trip with the new system but I don't know how realistic this is. Anyone want to pair up?

In addition to posting here, you also might want to try the GCPBA web page that has been set up specifically for folks like you to exchange information and combine waiting llist numbers.

The link is,16/

Good luck on getting on the river soon.
