Very good eye. That's a photo Dave Frank took at Skull last October on Sunday just after the big flash flood peak up to 13K. The flow had dropped to about 8K but we'd have all sworn it was higher. I'm convinced that the high density of the water, due to the suspended sediment load, made it feel like it was a higher flow. A couple of veteren boaters on the trip, intimate with WW at all levels, thought it was around 10K after we'd run through Little D.
See you in March,
Nothing in the world is more yielding and gentle than water. Yet it has no equal for conquering the resistant and tough. The flexible can overcome the unbending; the soft can overcome the hard. - Lao Tse
