Hi All,

We're a crew out of Crested Butte that pulled a last minute small group permit, launching May 2nd. We just lost one Phantom-down oarsman and are looking for someone with experience to row a boat down to Pearce.

Trip Details
8 Person Permit
Launch 5/2
Phantom 5/8
Pearce 5/20
Boats: two 18 footers, one 16 footer, two obnoxious kayakers
Experience: Upper - 3 members with combined ~15 grand trips
Lower - 2 members with combined 6 trips
Age Range: 23-27
Food: We're doing our own food, steak, salmon, pork chops, BOOYAH!
Cost for phantom down: 525 (food and gear) + 100 (permit) = 625 (not including booze, gas, incidentals)

The Deal:
I'm really looking forward to being an obnoxious kayaker, but if we don't find a boatmen, I suck it up and row from phantom down. If you're interested, shoot me an email with a phone # and a little about yourself: nicholasmatisse@gmail.com.

What's a boatwoman?

No, seriously. I am married to a wonderful lady who guided in GC for 6 years. If I called her a boatwoman, she would inflict some sort of physical pain in return. I might be able to get away with "female boatman" (however ridiculous that sounds), but I wouldn't risk it.

Wish we could go with, btw. We are both suffering GC withdrawal.
