Is anybody else concerned about the flows? The guage is 605 cfs today. At what level is it not worth the drive from Durango? Is it good to go at this level?

Thanks for the beta.

I was wondering the same thing......

Perhaps people don't seem to concerned because historically water gets released for the event....usually around 1000 cfs?

I have only been there a few times, but I can't imagine that it would be much fun below 700....

i am sure there is someone who is alot more familiar with all of this than me........above is purely my own speculation

see you there

Under 700 in a kayak gets a little bony. If you are paddling in a raft, bring the repair kit for this level.

Although it will be a little rough for rafting, the kayaking is still good in there even when it is low. I'm sure with enough kayakers, beer, and illicit drugs we'll all have some fun with some more creative events and crafts to get us down the river... Plus the partying is always a blast, and Gore seems to serve as the end of season kickoff party.

I would say that it is definitely still fun at this level. I ran it on Saturday and had a total blast.

I was in a 4fun... probably wouldn't recommend a creeker unless you are racing.

Tunnel is a bit tricky at this level if you ask me. Either that... or I just flat out f#'d it up.

Three other folks in our party all had a hell of a time in there as well.
