Wind is usually the main issue with the San Juan. It can get really nasty at times. Keeps the bugs away though.
I second the Honaker Trail. If anyone in the group is afraid of heights, they may have a problem, but it is an amazing trail. From the bottom you look up and think there is no way anyone could hike out of the canyon. But the trail works its way back and forth along the different layers of rock and goes all the way to the top. Spectacular.
Horn Point reminds me of Angles Landing in Zion NP. Not for the faint of heart.
I think it took us 1.5 hrs round trip, if I remember correctly. Or was it 1.5 hrs one-way?
