Good Flatwater spot in fort collins?

Do any of you fort collins guys/girls out there know some good clean ponds or lakes in or around fort collins to practice flatwater stuff? The pond I have been practicing in makes me think I'm about to grown a third arm!

I don't remember exactly where I used to go for roll practice in Fort Collins, but it was pond and South of hughes stadium right next to the foothills. If you've been in a pond, that may be the one. in all my time there I never grew any extra limbs.
You might also try that big eddy at the Filterplant take out on the Poudre. Don't know if its deep enough at low water but it is big and typicaly pretty clean, i think.

there are some ponds on prospect

that are pretty clean. head east from college, go past timberline, and look for the last right turn before going over the bridge over the poudre. i can't remember the name of the street. head south past a couple of ponds. go to the end of the road, and the pond you want is on the left.

i took my wife to the one out by the drive in earlier this summer, and i didn't like it. it didn't seem very clean to me.

you could also head up to horsetooth reservoir....

If you head north on college past the poudre in town you will see a sign on the left for a 4x4 shop there is a little dirt road that leads to mcmurry pond which is a nice and close little pond. Also i wouldn't pracise rolling anywhere on the filter plant at this level it is very bony right now.

McMurry Pond isn't so clean. I came down with a case of Giardia a couple of years ago that I attribute to McMurry Pond
