It's a good river runner that is pretty friendly and forgiving, and will surf waves and do basic freestyle manuevers. It is a horrible boat for "steep" creeking. If you live in Gunnison, it's a good boat for the Lake Fork and Taylor river, it is a bad boat for OBJ and other CB steep creeks.
The main features that make it bad for steep creeking and good for other things are the sharp chines, flat bottom, flat top, and lower volume stern (relative to the bow).
It's a great river runner, and a poor creek boat.
