Golden Rodeo Series 2012 Date Cancellations/Updates

Hi Everyone,

Due to low water levels and safety concerns this year, the Golden Community Rodeo Series has decided to cancel some of its dates of Wed, May 30 and Wed, June 6.

Instead, levels permitting, we are going to have one night of activities on Wed, June 13 with the possibility of a second night on Wed, June 20.

Regardless, please join us for the party on June 13th! And keep in mind, we will be back in 2013 bigger and better than ever.

Hi Folks

Update: we had a couple of experts go down to the playpark over the wknd and today to judge whether or not we could actually hold a competition and the answer was a resounding "no." The water is just too low, the levels have continued to fall today and there are too many safety concerns. The permit and insurance have been cancelled for the remaining dates of 2012. We tried, but Mother Nature just did not cooperate.

Pray for snow and we will see you in 2013. And thanks for understanding.
