The GCR is organized, managed and run exclusively by local volunteers whose common characteristic is the hope that all levels of boaters will feel welcomed at this event – from the meekest “newbie” to the local heroes. The goal is to provide fun events where everyone is welcome and everyone is supported - including spectators!

You must be a current Colorado Whitewater Association* Member to participate. Renew or sign-up here.

Sponsors include Golden River Sports, Colorado Whitewater Association, Red Bull, Confluence Kayaks, Jackson Kayak, WRSI, Immersion Research, Hala Gear, D'Deli and many more! "Like" us on Facebook for more updates under Golden Rodeo Series.

*All net proceeds are donated to CW - a 501c3 nonprofit organization dedicated exclusively to whitewater sports since 1954.

Divisions will include juniors, men's, women's and masters.

And Stephen-oops. My mistake. In my defense you DO win all kinds of medals on a regular basis! Maybe you are not THEE reigning world champion, but you are a champion none the less! A super-awesome-rock star-holy-crap-wish-i-had-your-skill-champion and we are honored to have you.
