This is a boating topic so don't move it you ruthless buzz reg-u-lay-tors. If you love the rivers you paddle and the mountains and forests that surround them you will vote for some checks and some balances for our current administration. I don't care what your social or foreign policy politics are. Take a look at the track record of Colorado's republican congressmen and woman's environmental track records and you will find that a vote for the republicans is a vote against the rivers and the wild lands we all love. Stop fooling yourself. YOU ARE NOT A TRUE BOATER IF YOU VOTE AGAINST PROTECTING OUR NATURAL ENVIRONMENT. You will not enjoy the day when paddling a day at Bailey feels more like paddling a day at Confluence. I don't like to get political and I know that the majority of both parties politicians are crooked greedy bastards. But even a smigeon of research into the environmental records of our contry's elected representatives will show that the democrats consistently vote to protect our waterways and wildlands while the republicans consistently sell the pollution of our contries natural resources to the highest bidder. Vote FOR the Rivers.
