I've been down there quite a bit lately. The river right wave(boat chute) is great for flatspins and front surfing, but I haven't seen anybody be able to cartwheel on it and stay retentive. As for the river left side, entry can be a little bit tough from the eddy, but if you keep your bow up you can do it. If you enter in from the center eddy there are some good spots to practice looping, and I'm sure that cartwheeling would be much better there than at the boat chute wave.
Hi craig,
You probably wouldn't be that stoked on it. You're looking at spins and epic front surfing. At 4k+ it was absolutely excellent, but now...well it was worth the tradeoff when they made the changes but the low water performance generally sucks.
It blows. Not worth the drive unless it goes above 4k.
