There was an article in the Grand Junction Daily Sentinel yesterday, 10/27 that stated that two companies have come to the table to bid on the project in Palisade. The article also mentioned that they are waiting on the Army Corp of Engineers to sign off on the project. I hope I'm not just jumping the gun, but, this sounds somewhat promising for that project to go ahead. Maybe even start construction in the next couple of months. We will see.
